Imagine the last time you took a big bite of something so yummy that you savored every last second.  What about that food that was so sensational?  Who prepared the food?  Do you truly savor food often?  If not, why not?

If you compare the meals served in many of the kitchens today, to meals served 100+ years ago, you will notice there is one very big difference.  We just aren’t cooking anymore.

We are losing the art of cooking— shopping for groceries, preparing meals, and cleaning up the kitchen afterwards can be a headache;   sometimes it seems there is simply not enough time to cook; perhaps, cooking isn’t enjoyable for you; and many just don’t know how.  Unfortunately, because we can’t, won’t, or don’t want to cook, most of us don’t truly enjoy our meals.

This year, JTA Wellness is determined to help you transition into a life of ease and enjoyment with cooking.

Going along with our theme this year, we wanted to alert you to some of the changes to our newsletter.  A part from a weekly recipe, we will be featuring a monthly news-article.  We are also excited to feature something new in our newsletter, Kitchen Hacks.  At the bottom of our weekly email, you will find tips and tricks for making your life in the kitchen a little easier.  (Let’s work smarter, folks- not harder!)

This year, we hope to help you discover the pleasures of healthy eating, one delicious recipe and “kitchen hack” at a time.  Savor 2017!
