During September, we focused on the health of important men in our lives. We discussed the woman’s role in men’s health, low testosterone, healthy lunch options when eating out, and exercise.

We first addressed the role ladies can play, and encouraged them to remember the difference between nagging verses being concerned. Learning how to be compassionate instead of demanding will go a long way in your man’s eyes. Empower him to take charge of his own health.

Men, if you are suffering from low testosterone ask yourself these the questions:

  • Am I within a healthy weight range for my height?
  • Do I regularly exercise?
  • Is stress in my life managed?

If you answered “No” to all three, find some encouragement in knowing that testosterone levels can be better managed with a healthy weight, regular exercise and managed stress.

Eating healthy when out for lunch can be difficult. Learning how to navigate your way through complicated menus as well as portion control are very important. Lastly, remember that staying active is important. Find an activity such as cycling, walking or even dancing to help keep exercise interesting and fun.

These effortless tips will encourage a healthier lifestyle in no time. As we come to the end of September, Men’s Health Month, October, is Women’s Health Month. If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter yet, make sure to today.
