JTA Wellness is a private practice clinic caring for patients who are dealing with a wide variety of health issues that are often a direct result of poor lifestyle choices. It is our passion and purpose to help everyone who walks through our doors find hope and direction for living their very best life now.

Many people think of JTA Wellness when it comes to healthy eating, but today I’d like to focus on the significant impact we have with cancer patients. I continually stand in awe of the power that healthy nutrition has to heal, repair and restore our bodies.  Did you know the simple act of increasing the caloric density of your food and increasing the frequency of meals and snacks to six times a day during cancer treatment can drastically improve cancer outcomes.

This month we are proud to announce that one of our JTA dietitians, Krista Neugebauer, is participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Woman of the Year campaign.  She has committed to raising $100,000 in 10 weeks to help fund two research grants to find a cure for blood cancers which include leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  To accomplish this goal, she needs your help!

Let’s face it, we all know someone walking the challenging journey of cancer and the difficult treatment so many must endure.  Let’s work together to help Krista raise funds to say “enough is enough – no more cancer”!  I invite you to join me in donating to be a Champion of Hope so that together we can put an end to this horrible, insidious disease once and for all.   Every dollar donated goes directly to LLS.  Click here to donate online or stop by our office to make a donation and write your name on a blood droplet to put on our wall.
