Shannon Trinh RDN, LD

My name is Shannon Trinh and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) who works closely with individuals with a variety of medical conditions to help them manage their chronic diseases and reach their health goals.

I found the passion for using nutrition to make positive impacts in other’s lives after learning the power that nutrition has for myself. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease during my adolescence that not only affected my gastrointestinal tract but led to my kidneys beginning to fail as well. During this time, I learned about NG tubes, PICC lines, TPN, blood sugars, and so much more, but most importantly– the impact that a RDN had in my journey to manage my condition.

I loved the idea of being able to connect with others with my past experiences and that is why I decided to become a RDN. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics and completed my Dietetic Internship at a large hospital in Dallas, Texas.

I have always loved helping others in any way that I can and by being a RDN, I love that I am able to help others enrich their lives through nourishment.
