2 (15-ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 cloves garlic
2-3 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons water
⅓ cup tahini
¼ cup olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add additional water if needed.
Garnish with additional parsley and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper, if desired. Serve alongside fresh vegetables, pita bread, or your favorite grilled meats. Use within 3 days.
