Fresh Green Beans with New Potatoes

Ingredients
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup small new potatoes, quartered
  • 3 cups fresh green beans, snapped
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, fresh cracked black pepper and sugar
Instructions
  1. In large Dutch oven, heat olive oil over low heat. Add onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Add green beans and seasonings. Add 2 cups water and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are fork-tender. Additional water may be added as needed.
