Spicy Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients
  • 1 large head green cabbage
  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup each finely chopped onion, green pepper & celery
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup cooked rice
  • ¼ teaspoon each salt & black pepper
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (10 oz) can tomatoes with green chiles
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
Instructions
  1. Remove 10 large outer leaves of cabbage; reserve remaining cabbage for other uses. Cook leaves in boiling salted water 5 to 8 minutes or just until tender; drain and set aside.
  2. Combine ground beef, onion, green pepper, celery, Worcestershire sauce, cooked rice, salt and pepper. Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.
  3. Fold opposite ends over and place rolls, seam side down, in a 9x13-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over cabbage rolls.
  5. Cover and bake at 350 degree for 1 hour.
