Steamed Broccoli with Lemon Garlic Sauce
- 1 bunch broccoli florets (about 1 pound)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- In a steamer set over boiling water, steam broccoli, covered, until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes
- While broccoli is steaming, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Heat garlic mixture over moderate heat for about 1 minute.
- Toss broccoli with garlic mixture and serve.
